    “My furnace was out and within hours of getting a call (and they are down a technician) Rick came out to my rental house and was able to get my unit running within 15 minutes. I chose to wait until a Monday to call someone, figuring I could tough it out to avoid a high cost. (Looks like I probably didn’t need to wait had I just called Cassel to begin with.) Needless to say, it was pretty cold in here by the time he came. Rich was amazing. Without question. He fixed me up right away and I have no doubt he was honest and fair and very kind.     “Our a/c wasn't working and we called Cassel. They came out within 2 hours. Found out we needed a new condenser motor. We have a home warranty contract with 3rd party and they were willing to fix the a/c that day and wait for the approval which took a week to get from the home warranty company. They (Jeff Kenyon" was able to fix it and didn't want to leave us without a/c. We will always use Cassel! Their service is the best!”

    “Called Cassel for a second opinion, they arrived on time and performed a free inspection, the technicians showed me the heat exchanger on the camera. No cracks were found on a 12 year old unit. Chief said otherwise and tried to sell us a new system. They showed me where the coil was dirty and took care of the problem on my call. The technicians were professional and prompt.     “I had to call for a service call on Monday afternoon it was a very warm day and the central air unit was not cooling the house very well at all. Later that day Steve Seymour arrived and within minutes he knew what the problem was and was able to tell us what was needed to fix. We gave the ok for Steve to get what was needed, and Steve called us back today Tuesday morning to tell us that the replacement part was covered under warranty , which was a big savings to us. Steve was the most professional service tech I have ever used. This was the most outgoing man I have talked with in a long time, and I deal with people on a regular basis. I would like to say Steve is a great representative for Cassel, and we will not use anyone but your company from this date forward. I hope that this is past on to Steve from his immediate supervisor, he is a keeper for sure.     “We have been using Cassel Home Comfort for our heating and AC maintenance for the past two years. This month (July, 2015) we decided to replace the entire 23-year-old system in order to gain the efficiency of newer equipment and avoid an emergency replacement scenario in the heat of a summer afternoon or the cold of dark winter night. We have always been very satisfied with the service, staff, and products of CHC, but we decided to perform our due diligence and acquired four proposals, one from CHC and three from other well-know area companies. In addition to the prompt, reasonably priced service we have always experienced with CHC, we can now say that we have also had a wonderful experience with the sales and installation staff. Rich, the CHC technical sales specialist, spent plenty of time with us on his visit and answered all of the many questions we had for him. Rich comes from a technical service background which gives him an excellent knowledge base as a sales rep. Rich felt more like a friend offering good advice than like a salesman just trying to close the deal. We were also impressed that the owner of the company, Lon Cassel, a man with decades of experience in this area, came to the installation to make sure we were satisfied with the progress and to check on his crew to see they needed anything to complete their tasks. I rarely write public reviews, good or bad, but I did not want to pass up the opportunity to share our experience with our friends and neighbors in central Illinois. Mr. Cassel calls his staff the "Home Comfort Heroes", and now I call them that too.”

    “So imagine this, a Sunday morning, it is brisk outside, as the temps are in the 20's. We start to notice that it feels chilly in the home too. And it dawns on me that I have heard the furnace running for a while. So, I go to check it out & find that the blower is running, but there are no flames. I fumbled with it for a couple of hours to no avail. We called Cassel because I have heard their ads so we knew that they would be available & also that we would get the same flat rate for the service call, even though it was a Sunday. When we called we were told that they would get someone out as soon as possible, but that it might be a little wait because they had a few calls ahead of us. We didn't mind waiting, because it is a Sunday & with the cold weather, I am sure they have been busy. The technician, Andrew arrived about 2 hours after we called. After about 30 minutes, he determined the igniter had failed. The best thing, he had the part in stock on his truck. So, after a total of around an hour, the heat was back up & running. On a side note, one thing that jumped out at me, which I didn't notice until he was leaving. But he had plastic shoe covers on his shoes to make sure he didn't track any mud into our home. It was a very nice touch. Thank you Cassel”

    “John Mcintosh came out on a service call for me today(on a Sunday, same price for service call during the week) from Cassel Home Comfort and by far has been the most knowledgeable, informative technician I have had experience with since being in my home. I've called out numerous of technicians, for different repairs and every time they left, I felt as if I just got beat out of my money because I am a woman and they knew I had little or no knowledge of what they were talking about or the jobs that they were performing. He not only explained to me what may have caused the furnace to go out, but also how to maintain the furnace as well. He also went over and above by not just fixing the Control board but tuned it up also. Not like one of the last two technicians that came out and told me I must call someone out again to have the furnace tuned-up and yet he charged me over $250 anyway for what I do not know because, here I am calling out someone again. This is by far the best experience I have had with a repair company/technician.”
